Darcy Arthur, RSW, MSW

I enjoy serving as a guide for individuals and couples as they navigate their personal wellness journeys. My practice is built on empathy, connection, and a deep belief in the transformative power of self-compassion. I am passionate about helping others explore their emotional landscape, uncover their inner strengths, and find healing through self-acceptance.

I work from an attachment theory lens, recognizing how our early experiences shape the way we respond to challenges, relationships, and the world around us. By understanding these patterns, we can begin to make sense of how past experiences influence our present lives. Additionally, as a self-professed neuroscience geek, I help clients understand how their brain shapes responses to stress, trauma, and life’s difficulties. By integrating this knowledge, we can create more effective, compassionate ways of responding to the challenges that arise.
Whether you’re facing life transitions, relationship struggles, or simply seeking deeper clarity, my approach is to create a safe, nurturing space for exploration, growth, and healing. I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and mindfulness practices. These modalities help to bring deeper self-awareness, emotional connection, and lasting transformation.

I work with veterans, military families, O.P.P members, and the general public. My work is grounded in a trauma-informed approach, ensuring that safety, trust, and respect are always central to our time together. I am here to offer gentle guidance and unwavering support as you navigate the challenges of life and step into a place of healing and personal growth.

I am truly committed to serving the community and supporting you on your journey toward wholeness and emotional well-being.

I hold a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Eastern University, a Bachelor of Psychology, and a University Certificate in Counselling Women.
